Simply fold the second row, and you’ll reveal over 60 cubic feet of cargo volume in both vehicles. Feel free to use all of it, some of it, or none of it! The standard 60/40 split in the rear seats lets you configure your cabin for the people or gear you need to move.
Hands-free power liftgates are available for both models, though the Ford Escape requires you to wave a foot under the rear bumper to open it. By comparison, the available Smart Power Liftgate™ opens automatically when you have the key fob in range!
Finding connection is so, so important—even when you step behind the wheel. In the 2022 Sportage and Escape, advanced infotainment does the work for you!
All sorts of features can be at your fingertips, including:

However, only the Sportage makes Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® standard, along with an 8-inch touchscreen. If you want the same technology in the Escape, you will need to move beyond the base trim level.
